William Howard Shearin

Spring Hope….William Howard Shearin, age 55, passed away Monday, June 29, 2026. He was born on September 20, 1970 in Nash County to Thurlo Jackson and Shelby Jean Wood Shearin.

William was preceded in death by his father, Thurlo Jackson Shearin, Sr.; brother, Thurlo Jackson Shearin, Jr.; and a grandson, Christopher Rizzo.

He leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Shelby Jean Shearin; wife, Cathy Shearin of the home; daughters, Kayla Baines (Dustin) of Spring Hope, Taylor Shearin of Spring Hope; son, Jonathon Ballance (Brooklyn) of Bailey; grandchildren, Addison Ballance, Westin Baines, Samuel Baines, Alexis Baines, Payten Baines, and Natalie Baines.

A visitation will be held Thursday, July 02, 2026 from 1:00 pm – 2:45 pm at Spring Hope Funeral Home with the funeral service beginning at 3:00pm with Pastor Ray Vick officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hope Memorial Gardens.
