Weldon H. Bryant, Jr.

MIDDLESEX – Weldon H. (Harry) Bryant, Jr., age 81, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from a long illness surrounded by his family at his home in the Samaria Community of Nash County. Born in Wilson County, NC, on November 08, 1943, he was the son of late Weldon H. Bryant, Sr. and Jane Brantly Bryant.

Harry is survived by his sons, David Bryant (Amy) of Samaria, Nick Bryant of Samaria, and Keith Bryant (Leigh) of Samaria; his sisters, Sylvia Neely (Roy)of Samaria, Marilyn Hucks (Mark) of Stanhope; his grandchildren, Ryan Alford, Justin Alford (Valerie), and Connor Bryant; his nieces, Shannon Hall (Jim), Jennifer Seagroves (Stephen), Jessica Tripp (John), and Abby Wade (Dillon); and his several great nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Samaria Baptist Church,  3752 Samaria Church Lane, Middlesex, NC 27557. Burial will follow the service at Samaria Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be from 1 PM until 1:45PM prior to the service in the chapel of Samaria Baptist Church.
