Thomas Gerald EdwardsMarch 28, 1936 April 07, 2014Middlesex..Thomas Gerald Edwards, age 78, died Monday, April 07, 2014. Graveside services will be conducted at Oakdale Cemetery on Friday, April 11 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Tim Hopkins officiating. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton Glen and Foy Brantley Edwards, a brother, William Sanford �½Sandy�½ Edwards. He is survived by his brothers, Dr. George C. Edwards and special friend, Susan Bradshaw, of Raleigh and M. Glen Edwards and wife, Gerry, of Spring Hope. The family will receive friends at Spring Hope Funeral Home Thursday evening from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Campbell University, P.O. Box 116, Buies Creek, NC 27506 to honor Gerald �½Scootchie�½ Edwards, Class of 1957 �½Pole Cats�½ Athletic Dept. Support Endowed Fund.
