Tency (Pearce) Penny

             Bunn…Tency Pearce Penny, age 93, passed away, Friday, February 10, 2023. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She was loved and will be greatly missed.

                         She was preceded in death by her husband, Haywood Penny, a son, Russell Penny, Sr., and several siblings.

                         She is survived by daughters, Trudy Abernathy of  Bunn, Rose Hall (Kenneth) of Middlesex; son, Earl Penny of Selma; grandchildren, Jeffery Abernathy, Amanda Whitley, Denise Johnson, Tina Sherrod, Russell Penny, Jr., Nichole Penny; many foster children;  ten great-grandchildren and  seven great-great grandchildren.

                         Visitation will be Wednesday, February 15, 2023  from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Spring Hope Funeral Home with a funeral following at 2:00 p.m.. Interment will follow in the Perry Family Cemetery, 4300 Billy Hopkins Rd., Zebulon, NC.
