Sylvia Finch (Evelyn) Bryant

Spring Hope..........Sylvia (Evelyn ) Finch Bryant, age 87, of Spring Hope, NC passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Wilson Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 17, 2016 at 11:00 am at Samaria Baptist Church, Middlesex, NC with Rev. Tim Hopkins officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 am at the church. Burial will follow the service at Bailey Town Cemetery. Other times the family will be at the home of Astor Rae and Durand Coleman, 8403 Byrd Road, Sims, NC 27880. Evelyn, as she was most commonly called, helped farm and retired with many years of service at K & R Sportswear in Spring Hope. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Gussie Stott Finch, her husbands, John W. Cone and Kenneth M. Bryant and sister, Jewel Finch. She is survived by sisters, Aileen Temple of Burlington and Astor Rae Coleman and husband Durand of Sims; a brother, Numa Finch of Bailey; stepsons, Carlton Bryant and friend Celena Curtis and Jimmy Dale Bryant of Middlesex; several special nieces and nephews and the extended Bryant and Cone families. A special thank you to Marie, Diane, Christine, Angie and Ellen for your care in the past. Also thank you to the girls on 400 Hall of Wilson Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
