She was born in Johnston County to the late James P. and Lillie Cockrell Boykin.A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Kevin Moore officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church, Spring Hope.Mrs. Woodard leaves to cherish her memory: husband Joe Woodard of the home; two sons, Paul Woodard and wife Natalie of Danville, Calif. and Richard �½Rich�½ Woodard of Nashville. She is also survived by a sister, Margie Edgerton of Newport News, Va. and three special grandchildren; Christopher Woodard and Kelli Woodard of Atlanta, Ga. and Lillie Woodard of Danville, Calif.Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, PO Box 177, Spring Hope, NC 27882.Arrangements are by Spring Hope Funeral Home.
