Sharon Lynn Moody Reams

June 21, 1954 – March 28, 2023

                         Sharon Lynn Moody Reams, aged 68, passed away March 28, 2023.

Born in Franklin County on June 21, 1954.  She was the daughter of the late Horace and Rosalie Moody.  She was preceded in death by her sister Dale Moody Harper. 

She is survived by her daughters, Lori Brooks and Jami Reams; grandsons, Jaden Brooks and Tyler Brooks; and sister, Jill Moody.

She taught Kindergarten for 40 years at Gold Sand Elementary and Laurel Mill Elementary.  She taught hundreds of students during her teaching career.  Being an educator was truly her passion aside from loving her girls and spoiling her grandsons!! 

Sharon was an amazing, caring, matter-of-fact, and organized woman who touched many lives, and will truly be missed.

On March 28, 2023, God spoke, Job Well Done Ms. Reams, you’ve earned your Gold Star!!

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 01, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Spring Hope Funeral Home with the Rev. Henry D. Hedgepeth officiating. Visitation will immediately follow the service at the home of Lori Brooks. Interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers please leave donations of school supplies at the funeral home to be dispersed between Laurel Mill Elementary School and Fairview Elementary School to continue her legacy of helping students and teachers.
