Sally Mae (Wood) Williams

RALEIGH – Sally Mae Wood Williams, age 97, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. Born in Nash County, NC on February 15, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Wood and Lillie Sledge Wood. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Allen Williams.

Sally is survived by her son, Kenneth Williams; her sister, Alice Overton; and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 11:00AM at Spring Hope Memorial Gardens, 7830 Webbs Mill Road, Spring Hope, NC 27882 with Pastor Larry Perry officiating.
