Rosamond Brantley

Zebulon.................Rosamond Brantley, age 88, died on Thursday, November 28, 2019 peacefully. She was born in Bailey, NC, the daughter of Handy G. Brantley and Susan Oda Brantley. She was very devoted to her family and friends. She always looked for a way to help others with her time and made charitable donations, food items, and school supplies to East Wake Academy Charter School, Samaria Baptist Church, local nursing and rehabilitation centers, and special need families in Nash County. She retired after over thirty-one years as a certified LPN at Doretha Dix Hospital for the State of NC. Work was an important part of her life and she endeavored to deliver exemplary medical care. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Bailey Cemetery, 11379-11705 Hwy 581, Bailey NC 27807. Survivors include her sisters, Shirley Cummings of Winston Salem; Susan Collier of Florida; Mary E. Kindell of Knightdale; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Susan Oda Denton and Handy G. Brantley, Elsie Jones; sister, Tennie O' Quinn; sister, Graham Brantley; brother. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be sent to Samaria Baptist Church, 3752 Samaria Church Ln, Middlesex, NC 27557.
