SPRING HOPE......Patricia May Wood, age 86, passed away Friday, March 3,2017. A graveside service will be conducted Sunday 5:00 in Oak Dale Cemetery , Spring Hope, with Rev. Eugene Whitehouse officiating. The family will receive friends at her home, Saturday from 5-6 P.M. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Madison Wood; parents, Edgar Warren May and Carrie Leigh May; and a brother, Edgar Warren May, Jr. She is survived by sons; James William "Bill" Wood of Scottsdale, Arizona; Bart Wood of Spring Hope and a sister, Annie Vince Denton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Peachtree Baptist Church 3523 NC 581 North, Spring Hope, NC 27882 or First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 117, Spring Hope, NC 27882.
