                    Newport….Michael Ray Cone, age 69, formerly of Spring Hope, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024.

                    Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin E. and Virginia Burnette Cone.

                    He is survived by his significant other of seventeen years, Deborah Hutson; daughter, Heather O`Neal ( Bobby) of Kinston; sisters, Ann Cone Daniels ( A.C.) of Castalia, Faye Cone of Dacula, Georgia; grandsons, Tyler Wells (Kat), Jackson Bradberry; great- grandchildren, Micah Wells, Milani Wells.

                    A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Spring Hope Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Collie officiating.

                    In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Michael`s memory to the charity of one`s choice.
