Mary Hazel (Farmer) Alford

Zebulon – Mary Hazel Farmer Alford, age 97, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Born in Wilson, NC, on June 12, 1927,to the late Ed Farmer and Hazel Warren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Raymond Rudell Alford, Jr.

Mary is survived by her sons Raydell Alford and wife Chara Lene and Mark Alford; her grandchildren Joseph Alford, Renee Alford Perry, Katelyn Alford, and Amanda McDonald; her ten great-grandchildren; and her great-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM at Popular Springs Baptist Church, 89 Brantleytown Road, Zebulon, NC 27597. Burial will follow the service at Pine Ridge Church Cemetery, 865 Pine Ridge Road, Zebulon, NC 27597. A visitation with the family will be held prior to the service starting at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Popular Springs Baptist Church.
