John Earl Tant

NASHVILLE – John Earl Tant, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Born in Franklin County North Carolina, on October 28, 1939, he was the son of the late Samuel Tant, and Clorie Tant. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Carlyle Tant.

John is survived by his step-son, Eugene Carlyle and wife Vickie; his sister, Marie Ray; and his brothers, Billy Tant and Clyde Tant.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM at Spring Hope Church of God, 7779 Webbs Mill Road, Spring Hope, NC 27882, with Pastor Larry Perry, Pastor Ron Brisson, and Rev. Larry Massey officiating. Burial will follow the service at Church of New Life Church of God of Prophesy, 800 N. Main Street, Rolesville, NC 27571. A visitation with the family will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Spring Hope Church of God, 7779 Webbs Mill Road, Spring Hope, NC 27882.
