Jasper Brantley
September 22, 1928 – June 15, 2023
Spring Hope….Jasper Brantley, age 94, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023. Jasper spent all his life farming in Nash County. He was very dedicated to his wife of seventy – six years, Annie Vee Brantley. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He raised several children other than his own. He was a hardworking man and enjoyed curing tobacco. He loved fishing and the outdoors, tending his garden and riding his Farmall.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Nicky Brantley, and Donnie “Goat” Brantley; brother, Bobby Brantley.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Vee Brantley, of the home; Daughters, Connie “Lady” Staton (Joe), and Cindy Whitehurst (John); sons, Adrian “Purdy” Brantley (Denise), and Chris Brantley (Teffany); ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren
A visitation will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 10:00 until 10:45 am at Spring Hope Funeral Home with the graveside to follow at 11:00 am in Spring Hope Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dale Eatmon and the Rev. Reuben Batchelor officiating.
