Zebulon.............Jack Flowers, 83, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017. A service will be held Tuesday, January 24, at 7:00 p.m. at Spring Hope Funeral Home with the visitation following the service. The interment service will be held at Pine Ridge Baptist Church cemetery in Zebulon Wednesday, January 25, at 11:00 a.m. Mr. Flowers was preceded in death by his parents: W.R. and Myrtie B. Flowers; a sister, Lula Gray Newcomb; Two brothers, Cameron and Clarice Flowers; Two half-brothers, Glenn and Sherwood Flowers. Mr. Flowers is survived by his wife Sylvia S. Flowers of the home; Son, Larry Flowers of Oak City; Four sisters, Peggy Medlin of Rocky Mount, Marry Belle Phillips (Herman) of Zebulon, Linda Blackley (Eugene) of Clayton, Margie Flowers of Middlesex; One brother, Bruce Flowers (Caffie) of Zebulon Arrangements for the Flowers family is under the care of Spring Hope Funeral Home.
