                    Zebulon….Glenn Murray, age 81, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

                    He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Marian Stallings Murray and his uncle, Dwain Stallings.

                    He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of sixty years Peggy Proctor Murray of the home; daughters, Denise Wood (Gary) of Zebulon, Melissa Murray Simpson of Wake Forest; son, Christopher Proctor Murray of Zebulon; sisters, Connie Hull of Tarboro, Cindy Orr of Wilson; brother, Richard Murray (Mary) of Spring Hope; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

                    Visitation will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 1:00pm until 1:45pm with the funeral beginning at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Spring Hope funeral home with Pastor Harry Upchurch officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hope Memorial Gardens.

                     In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude`s Children`s Hospital.
