Ellen Madora Williams WilliamsAfter a blessed and productive life, Ellen Madora Williams Williams, peacefully rejoined her family in Heaven, on Sunday, July 12,2015.Born in May of 1923, Mrs. Williams was a native of Nash County and the youngest child of Guilford Hines Williams and Addie Green Johnson Williams. She was joyfully married to the late Floyd Earl Williams, formerly of Momeyer. She was a shining example of a loving, faithful and devoted wife for fifty eight years.A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Williams will be conducted on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 11 AM at First Baptist Church of Spring Hope. The family will receive visitors following the service in the church fellowship hall.Mrs. Williams was predeceased by all of her siblings: Guy Harvey Williams, Samuel Barden Williams, Glennie Williams Baker, Henry Clayton Williams, Mary Gold Williams Richardson, Joseph H. Williams, Robert Norman Williams, Lucille Johnson Williams Pace and a nephew, Gilbert Winstead Williams.Mrs. Williams had a deep, strong faith and was a life long member of First Baptist Church of Spring Hope. She built a reputation of being a successful business leader and citizen. She compiled twenty five years of service at Bruce\\'s Five and Dime on Main Street and was owner of The Town Shop in Spring Hope for twenty seven years. Over fifty years of retail along Main Street in Spring Hope, she took pride in having clean and organized stores, including beautiful displays in store front windows. During her business career, Mrs. Williams took great pride in developing strong relationships with her customers, many of whom became treasured friends. Some of Mrs. Williams most cherished memories were of the Spring Hope Pumpkin Festival. She loved seeing the community come together to organize the parade and participate in the festivities.Although Mrs. Williams never had children of her own, she was a mentor, advisor and role model to younger generations throughout her life.
