DOROTHY “DOT” BASS MATTHEWS
DECEMBER 24, 1929 - JULY 7, 2021
SPRING HOPE………………… Dorothy “Dot” Matthews, 91 passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021.
A graveside service will be Monday, July 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Oak Dale Cemetery, Spring Hope with the Rev. Bill Brantley officiating.
Mrs Matthews was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Grady Bass and Addie Bass; a sister, Reo Stamm and brother, Otto Bass.
Mrs. Matthews leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Bennie Lee Matthews of the home; a daughter, Leigh Matthews Dunn and husband Robert Dunn of Spring Hope; a son, Anthony “Andy” Matthews and wife Brenda Cooper Matthews of Spring Hope. Dot also leaves her four grandchildren; Jamie Dunn, Beth Dunn White and husband “Rob”, Drew Matthews and Drake Matthews and one great grandson, Eli White.
