Daisy Strickland Obituary

SPRING HOPE - Daisy Lucas Strickland, age 86, passed away at her residence, Wednesday, October 23, 2013.A graveside service will be held Friday, October 25, 2013 at 11:00 AM conducted by Dr. Greg Lawson and Dr. Cameron Currin at Spring Hope Memorial Gardens, Spring Hope.Mrs. Strickland was preceded in death by her husband, John W. �½Bill�½ Strickland; parents, Doctor Roney and Esther Babb Lucas and three brothers, Aaron, Henry and Jack Lucas.Mrs. Strickland leaves to cherish her memory, four daughters: Molly Perry (Billy Wayne) of Zebulon, Ruth Brantley (Willard) of Middlesex, Linda Brown (Nicky) of Bailey, Sherry Mullen (Tony) of Spring Hope and one son; Joe Strickland (Paulette) of Wendell. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.The family will receive friends Thursday, October 24, 2013, 6:30 until 8:30 PM at Spring Hope Funeral Home.
