He is survived by his wife, Janice Faye Boykin of the home; step-daughter, Lynneva Medlin; step-sons, Michael Joyner, Timothy Joyner, and Jesse Joyner; half-sister, Kim Batchelor; aunts, Vicky Lewis, and Josephine Lilley; uncle, Kenny Cone.
