Benjamin Carl ï¿Â½B.C.ï¿Â½ WiggsSpring Hope..B.C. Wiggs, 89, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 after a long period of declining health.Funeral services will be Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church, Spring Hope. Entombment will follow at Oak Dale Cemetery. Rev. Kevin Moore will conduct the service.B.C. served in World War 11. He was a past deacon of First Baptist Church; past president of Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Raleigh and Wilson. He was a volunteer with the American Red Cross, and past assistant fire chief of Spring Hope Fire Dept..B.C. was preceded in death by his daughters, Lynn W. Wilson and Rosemary Wiggs of Spring Hope; sisters, Helen Jackson and Shirley Griffin and his mother and father, Ben and Carrie Swanson Wiggs.He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Rosabelle Davis Wiggs; son, Timothy C. Wiggs and wife Beth of Lucama; grandson, Travis C. Wiggs and wife Allison and two great grandsons, Davis and Holden Wiggs all of Raleigh. B.C. is also survived by his sister, Alene Wiggs of Nashville, and a special friend, Stuart Parker of Spring Hope.The family will receive friends at Spring Hope Funeral Home, Friday, March 13, 2015 6:30 - 8:30 PM.
