Spring Hope....... Lottie Lou Dickens, 91, passed into her heavenly home on Saturday, April 9, 2016, surrounded by her four precious daughters and extended family. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 13, 2016, 2:00 PM at Ephesus Baptist Church with Rev. Clark Rounds officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery, Spring Hope. Lottie Lou was preceded in death by her parents; Spencer Willie and Ora Mae Bryant Murray, daughter, June Gale Edwards, and son William Curtis Dickens, Jr. She was a faithful member and served as a deacon in Ephesus Baptist Church. She was also faithful in volunteering in many positions in the community: the Homemakers Extension, Red Cross Blood Drives, Chamber of Commerce and her many articles she wrote in the Spring Hope Enterprise. Lottie Lou leaves to cherish her memory four daughters; Susan Alford (Danny) of Middlesex, Wanda Comerford (Ronald) of Spring Hope, Amy Evans of Bailey and Nancy Dickens (Derrill) of Spring Hope. She is also survived by her precious grandchildren; Chris Comerford (Shannon), Amber Dew, Daniel Evans, Brandon Alford and Matthew Evans (Ashley) and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 12, 2016, 6:30 until 8:30 at Spring Hope Funeral Home and other times at the home. Online condolences may be made to www.springhopefh.com.
