Bass, age 86, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014.A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday March 11, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Peachtree Baptist Church Cemetery, Spring Hope, with Rev. Eugene Whitehouse officiating.Mrs. Bass was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Bass and a son, Jimmy Bass.She is survived by a daughter, Wendy Brooks and husband, Glen of Spring Hope; sister, Sue McLawhorn of Farmville; granddaughter, Summer Phillips and husband, Jason; two grandchildren, Conner Allsbrook and Gracyn Phillips.
